Rānui Generation Solar Farms
Twin Rivers - Kaitaia
The Twin Rivers Solar Farm is Rānui Generation's first, and northern most project in New Zealand. It has been designed with a nameplate capacity of approximately 30MWp and 24MWac grid connection .
Once commissioned, the solar farm will generate approximately 42GWh per annumn from the 34 hectare site.

Three Streams - Kaponga
The Three Stream Solar Farm is located in Kaponga, Taranaki. It has been designed with a nameplate capacity of approximately 38MWp and 30MWac grid connection.
The solar farm area is 47ha, and once commissioned will generate approximately 53GWh per annum.
Resource consent for the construction, operation and maintenance of the project has now been granted approval non-notified from South Taranaki District Council.
We are now looking to commence the tender process for this project, construction for which is planned to commence Q2 2025. Skinner Road - Stratford
The Skinner Road Solar Farm is located in Stratford, Taranaki. With a nameplate capacity of approximately 40MWp and 32MWac grid connection, the solar farm will generate approximately 55GWh per annumn from the 47 hectare site.
Resource consent for th Skinner Road Solar farm was approved non-notified by Stratford District Council December 2024.
Bridge Street - Ongaonga
The Bridge Street Solar Farm is located in Ongaonga Central Hawkes Bay.
The project is in design phase with a nameplate capacity proposed of up to 55MWp from the 58.5ha Site which is to be leased from the Buchanan family.
We have engaged with local consultants to prepare technical input necessary for the preparation of a resource consent application which has now been lodged with Central Hawkes Bay District Council.
