Commencement of Works
On the 24th July in conjunction with Te Paatu Marae, Rānui Generation held a turf turning ceremony to offically kick of the commencement of the construction programme.
The karakia/blessing of the site prior to commencement of physical works was an important milestone in the relationship between Te Paatu (local hapu) and Rānui, and an important component for the success of the project.
Over the coming months site preparation works will get underway including a small area of contouring earthworks, construction of internal access and erection of perimeter fencing.

Tikokino - Central Hawkes Bay
The Tikokino Solar Farm is located in Central Hawkes Bay. This project is in early design stage.
The project is designed with a nameplate capacity of up to 55MWp and 43MWac grid connection, the solar farm will generate approximately 61GWh per annumn from the 57 hectare site.
